Highwater Publishing is a small independent publishing house based in Belgium.

We specialize in niche photography books, (maga)zines and art prints. Mostly limited edition print runs with hand-numbered and/or signed copies. We deliberately choose quality over quantity, ensuring every publication is crafted as a beautiful printed artwork with true collector’s value.

Founded by Caroline & Bram in 2025, at what seemed to be a challenging time for this medium, we’re happy to say print is far from dead! Much like vinyl in the music industry or analog film in photography, it endures. Why? Because it offers something digital just can’t replace: a tangible, timeless experience.

We’ve been inspired by the wealth of outstanding independent initiatives that reminded us how alive and vital this culture really is. It even made us want to contribute.

With nearly 25 years of experience in photography, design, printing, post-production and art, starting Highwater Publishing has felt less like a gamble and more like a natural progression.
